教師教育理念For successful, life-long learning, don't just memorize the facts, but rather understand the "Why" and apply them in your life.
教學理念Successful, life-long learning is not just about memorizing facts, but rather a cumulative process that integrates knowledge, understanding of basic principles, personal experience, personality and, of course, motivation.
教學目標欣賞事物並不表示是喜歡或享受,雖然欣賞不熟悉或不喜歡的事物的能力往往可以導致態度的改變,進而產生了初步的、容忍、接受或者甚而享受。透過對音樂基本要素(節奏、旋律、和聲等)的應用與操作的討論以及藉由聆聽不同種類的音樂,本課程希望達到幫助學生瞭解是什麼讓音樂聽起來是就是如此,音樂是如何在過去幾個世紀裡演變,以及現代年輕成年人們喜愛享受的音樂形式的根源。本課程特定的重點將放在課堂上的討論以及研究音樂在臺灣觀光產業界裡所扮演的角色。

英文大綱To appreciate something does not mean to like or enjoy, although the ability to appreciate something unfamiliar or disliked often leads to changes in attitude that may lead to a rudimentary ,tolerance, acceptance or even enjoyment. Through discussion of the application and manipulation of the basic elements of music (rhythm, melody, harmony …) and by listening to a few of the many kinds of music, this course aims to help students understand what makes music sound the way it does, how music has changed over the centuries and the roots of the popular forms of music enjoyed by today’s young adults. Of particular importance will be in-class discussion and study of the role of music in Taiwan’s tourism industry.
